Lauryn Goodman shares defiant 'broken home' message amid Kyle Walker drama

Lauryn Goodman shared a powerful message about being a single mum as she continues to deal with the fall out from the Kyle Walker drama.

Lauryn, 33, and married footballer Kyle, 34, share two children together following brief flings. Despite the paternity battle that has since ensued, the Celebs Go Dating star has continued to share her family dynamic on social media.

On Monday, mum-of-two Lauryn shared a powerful post by Ellie Grey to her Instagram Stories which referred to a single parent family sometimes being more settled that one with both parents. Lauryn, who is mum to son Kairo, four and daughter Kinara, one, shared the lengthy statement to her followers and added a number of star emojis in agreement.

The statement began: "A single parent house hold doesn't mean a "broken home". It went on: "You can have a broken home while still being with your partner. You can have two people who are together, who shouldn't be. Children can experience a 'broken home' with both parents present. Shouting, screaming, door slamming, breaking things, lack of visual love, emotional distress or just simply, not showing love and affection...that's a broken home."

The post continued to say that while they hadn't planned to be a single parent, they were proud to say their kids lived in a home where there was no name calling and was a "safe and secure home". "I admitted I got it wrong and walked out into a happier, more peaceful room," the post concluded.

Lauryn has been open about her time with Kyle while appearing on E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating. In her first episode, she was in tears as she explained how she felt in the aftermath of the situation. Speaking to dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson, the influence confessed she had trust issues in recent years. She went on to reveal exactly what happened with the sports star, before admitting she is unsure if she can ever forgive the sports star for his actions and called herself a "shell" of who she used to be.

While the drama continues to unfold, Lauryn recently shared the message she sent Annie over Christmas last year, which exposed Kyle’s affair and revealed he was the father of her two children. Kyle and Annie also have four sons together - Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and Rezon, five months.
