Anyone who occasionally enjoys a tipple in the evening to relax once everything has been checked off their to-do list is likely to have their go-to beverage of choice - and is reportedly no exception this.

Once her three children - , Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - are safely tucked up in bed, the future Queen is said to enjoy one particular drink, and her husband William is on hand to make it for her. The future King and Queen have faced a challenging few months, as Kate underwent a course of chemotherapy and was forced to step back from official engagements and remain out of the public eye.

Whilst maintained his royal duties, he was forced to balance this work with taking care of his wife and three young children, with sources reported as saying Kate was impressed and "genuinely touched" that he had stepped up to the plate to support her so happily and enthusiastically. Even a gesture as small as making her a drink each evening, likely shows that William and Kate's bond is as close as ever, with the pair being together since shortly after they met in 2001 as undergraduates at the University of St. Andrews, over 20 years ago.

Kate's tipple of choice is one of the most popular drinks across the UK, so many people can likely to her choice of what to drink when it comes time to wind after a busy day - gin and tonic. A palace insider was reported by as saying "William will bring Kate a gin and tonic. They look after each other but in different ways."

The couple have joked around before about the shared household responsibilities and how they are divided up. During an appearance on Radio 1, they kidded around with one another about who would be cooking dinner that night when they got home, with Kate joking: "You're looking at me?" before admitting she would probably make a teriyaki salmon or curry for their family, depending on what time they arrived home from the appearance.

Sources reported in claimed that Kate was pretty moved by how much William had helped her during one of the most challenging periods of their marriage, noting William "shouldered a lot of the responsibilities, and, what’s more, he seems to be having fun doing it. Kate has seen the change, and she's genuinely touched by all that he's doing - not just for her, but for the children."

A further source was quoted as saying, "They remember their vows they said at their wedding...It forced her and William to take a good look at their priorities and be more grateful for what they have. Their vows have never been more profound as they navigate this difficult time."
