Gary Neville has claimed that Pep Guardiola was fuming over Arsenal's sensational goal from Ricardo Calafiori against Manchester City because their free-kick in the build-up was taken 10 yards away from where the foul took place.
City were left stunned by the Gunners in the first half after Erling Haaland's well-taken finish was cancelled out by a magnificent strike from Italian defender Calafiori, who arrowed in a superb strike into the far corner.
But Guardiola was left livid and even kicked his own chair in the dugout as the City players also fumed at the referee that the goal should not have stood.
Kyle Walker led the complaints on the pitch, with the England star not in position when Arsenal took a free-kick they had been awarded inside their own half, while Neville insisted the players were unhappy that it was not taken in the right position.

The Sky Sports commentator said: "We're hearing the problem City have is that the free-kick was taken 10 yards away from where the actual foul was.
"They're complaining the free-kick is taken before Walker can get back to his spot. We also think it was taken away from where it was awarded. That's why City are annoyed. "[Walker is saying to the ref] 'You pulled me out of position and you've not let me get back'. I'd be annoyed."
Speaking later in the coverage, Neville's punditry colleague Jamie Carragher also offered his view. He said: "You can totally understand, Kyle Walker and Pep Guardiola screaming at each other as the ball went back to the centre-circle. I don't know if he was saying get away from the referee now so you don't get yourself booked."
It was an incident-filled first period as Kai Havertz bodychecked Rodri inside the first four seconds of the game and left the Spaniard on the floor - but avoided a red card after a VAR check. Haaland then put City ahead with a simple toe-poked finish from Savinho's quality through ball - before Calafiori's stunning equaliser.
Towards the end of the half, Gabriel Magalhaes netted his second goal in as many games as he leapt up high to power in a header from a corner at close range.
But the away side's momentum suddenly shifted as Leandro Trossard was shown a second yellow card for a challenge on Bernardo Silva - giving Arsenal an uphill battle for the remainder of the second half.
