Loose Women panellist Frankie Bridge is back this week with another edition of her Faves Edit on Instagram. She's serving up some serious autumnal looks that have us swooning - including a beautiful bomber jacket in this season's most sought-after shade: burgundy.
While the actual jacket Frankie is wearing in her social media stories has sold out, she was so kind as to steer us in the direction of a few alternatives that are just as stunning, such as this Topshop nero collar nylon bomber jacket in burgundy. Costing £59, the bomber jacket has all sizes still in stock on ASOS (XS to L) and has a regular fit, meaning it's fitted enough to look great with a t-shirt on underneath but large enough to fit a jumper underneath it snugly.
Made from smooth, wrinkle-resistant polyamide, the jacket has a relaxed baseball collar and zip fastening that'll keep out the chill. With functional pockets on either side, too, you can dash out the house with your purse, keys and phone on your person at all times. The jacket's ribbed cuffs retain heat to ensure you remain toasty as the colder months draw in, too, which is always a bonus.

The best part is it's finished in this season's trending colour, burgundy, which Frankie explains: "It looks great on all skin tones and works with so many other tones in your wardrobe. I love mixing it with taupe and chocolate." She did this with an athleisurewear set from Adanola (its Ultimate Asymmetric Double Strap Bra - Cocoa Brown, £29,99 and matching Ultimate Leggings in the same shade, £39.99).
And it wasn't long before Frankie fans took to her social media post to share their love on the outfits, with one saying: "Love the look but the burgundy jacket." Another remarked: "Love love love!!!" A third stated: "Incredible."
While there are zero negative reviews for us to find, one thing we do notice is that it obviously doesn't have a hood so wouldn't be too good when caught in a downpour, plus polyamide isn't quite so waterproof, so keep that in mind. For drier days, however, when you want to be cosy but cool, this bomber jacket is the perfect transitional piece.
Fancy something a little more wintery to help you prepare for the chill we're set to endure? This Gini London Burgundy Faux Fur Collared Jacket from New Look is £70 and is a great, bold, statement piece for your autumn-winter wardrobe. Alternatively, Urban Outfitters' BDG Corduroy Harrington Jacket is £69 and has a similar finish the ASOS' burgundy bomber jacket but is fitted with a spread collar instead of a baseball one and is made from cotton corduroy.
