Emmerdale villain Tom King eyes up next target in sinister move as downfall imminent

spoilers reveal Tom King has a new target next week, as he makes a sinister threat about another villager.

Having made an enemy of almost everyone in the village, he has something up his sleeve leaving one resident alarmed. Tom has made an enemy of the Dingles after his abuse towards Belle Dingle came to light.

After drama with the family, he also faced drama with his aunt Nicola King who finally believes he might not be as innocent as he's made out. Tom's threats towards his young cousin Carl Holliday have left Nicola wanting him gone.

Amelia Spencer seemed to finally cotton on to her partner's ways this week, only to forgive him. But amid his colleagues Paddy Kirk, Vanessa Woodfield and Rhona Goskirk turning their backs on him too, Tom is fighting for survival.

He's yet to confess to what he put Belle through, and now he and his solicitor Ollie have tried to set-up the Dingles by staging an attack and his car being vandalised. But with time running out and his downfall no doubt imminent, Tom eyes up someone else to harass in upcoming scenes.

Paddy is left caught off guard when his former employee takes action. Paddy and the others at the vets told Tom to leave weeks ago while he was facing abuse allegations, before sacking him.

We've previously seen Tom confronting Vanessa and Rhona about the move, telling them they had no grounds for getting rid of him. When he got nowhere with that he threatened to sue them, and next week he plays dirty.

Seeking out Paddy, Tom threatens to air the vets’ dirty laundry unless he gets his job back. It's not clear what dirty laundry he's referring to, but knowing Tom he could easily make stuff up or plant evidence.

It seems there is something he could expose though, even if it's linked to his dismissal, as Paddy is unnerved and torn. As Tom issues his threats, he demands his job back but what will Paddy do?

Tom is thought to be leaving the soap soon, as the actor who plays him, James Chase, has left the role. It's yet to be confirmed by the soap how he will leave and if Belle will get justice.

With characters finally starting to realise what Tom is capable of, Belle remains in a secure unit after her mental health spiralled following months of torment. Belle is facing prison over her attack on Tom, but can someone help her and expose him?
