Celebs Go Dating's Ella Morgan shares real reason for expert's touching words

Celebs Go Dating star Ella Morgan has shared the real reason why love expert Paul C Brunson said he was "proud" of her and how it had a much deeper context than viewers realised.

The star, famous also for her time on Married at First Sight UK, opened up about a behind-the-scenes moment that led to Paul's praise during an emotional episode earlier in the series. Ella told PinkNews that Paul's heartfelt compliment came after she confided in him about struggling with self-esteem issues.

She also explained that she confronted Paul on whether he actually liked her. This led the pair to have a frank conversation.

Ella expressed that she wasn't sure if they were getting along. She said: "I said to (Paul), 'I feel like you don’t like me, or you get me'. I never got that feeling on Married At First Sight (because) I’m so bolshy and loud and frantic.

"I do think a lot of people find me a lot to be around. The reason he [paid me that tribute] was because I told him I didn’t think he liked me," added Ella, who appears on Celebs Go Dating alongside the likes of Jamelia and Helen Flanagan.

In the most recent episode of Celebs Go Dating, which aired on September 12, viewers saw Ella’s relationship with Paul tested. The expert turned up unexpectedly to "completely ruin" her day by making her confront all three of the men she had dated while on the show, namely Sam, Reece and Alex.

Venting her frustration, Ella exclaimed: "Paul, I never thought I'd say this but what the hell are you doing here? This has gone from the best day ever to my worst nightmare."

She added: "Paul f*** off! What a way to completely ruin my date with Alex, by airing my dirty laundry."

Following a fiery confrontation with Reece - whom she had been intimate with away from the show - Ella decided to give it another shot with Alex. This came as just as Reece left the scene and shared some biting parting words.
