Send Push

Anthony Joshua takes on the young pretender Daniel Dubois as the elder statesman attempts to become a three-time heavyweight world champion.

Both men haver rebuilt their careers after adversity, Joshua following his back-to-back defeats by Oleksandr Usyk and Dubois from his loss - and quit accusations - by Joe Joyce. And it is Dubois who defends his world title having beaten Filip Hrgovic in June to become the interim champion before being upgraded when Usyk gave up his IBF belt.

Joshua will start as the favourite having won four fights in succession, but one thing is for sure, this fight will not last long with both men carrying huge power. Here is everything you need to know...

When is Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois and what time will it start?

Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will fight on Saturday night and are expected to walk to the ring at around 10pm. The fight will start shortly afterwards to ensure it is finished by 11pm, which is often the curfew at Wembley. Because of this, and the short, six-fight card, the main event will not start any later, unlike often when it can be delayed.

Quotes corner

Daniel Dubois : "I've had to resurrect my career. Criticism. People saying whatever they had to say, but I don't want to go too deep into it. I've resurrected my career and just keep going now. I've resurrected it. It's not over yet. Every day's a battle. I could fall back right into where I was but I'm going to keep chipping away and keep going forward."

Anthony Joshua : "I'm just willing to fight anyone. This is my 13th world title fight. So that must mean whoever's at that level or whoever's going to come to that level, I'm going to have to compete with. We're all here to do a job. We're all here as warriors to fight each other. This is a different beast in Daniel, completely different animal. But in terms of memories, it'll bring back memories of going to the well, not giving up, staying consistent."
